Ans. To participate, simply select the programs you wish to take part in while registering yourself for Chimera® EQAS. The detailed steps for the same are as follows :
  1. Visit the Chimera® EQAS website and go to the Login Section.
  2. Create an account by filling out the registration form.
  3. Select the scopes you wish to participate in on the registration form.
  4. The following day you will receive an invoice on your registered email as well as on your Chimera® EQAS account.
  5. Upon successful payment, you are assigned a unique code, which is visible when you log into your Chimera® EQAS account.
Note: This code is to be used for all future communications between you and the Chimera® EQAS team.

Ans. Chimera® EQAS is open to all laboratories involved in molecular diagnostics who are either nationally and/or internationally accredited or are looking to get accredited.

Ans. Your laboratory’s fee for participating in Chimera® EQAS is tailored according to the tests selected by you at the time of registration. To determine your laboratory’s fee, kindly visit the pricing section on the website and select the scopes you wish to participate in as well as the duration of time for which you would like to participate.

Ans. Kindly write to us at ctrf.info@gmail.com to renew your annual subscription.

Ans: The sample distribution dates are provided in the annual program Calendar. You can find the Calendar in the ‘Resources’ tab on the Chimera® EQAS website.

Ans. In case you have forgotten your password or wish to change it, simply click on the ‘Forgot Password’ button on the Login page. Enter your registered email id and you will soon receive an email with a link to reset your password.

Ans. The samples provided by Chimera® EQAS should be treated just like any other samples received by your laboratory. These samples are of biological origin and have been tested for infectious diseases. However, no test method can guarantee the complete absence of infectious material. Therefore it is advised to treat the samples provided as potentially infectious and appropriate care should be taken while handling them.

Ans. In case of inability to take part in a round you have signed up for, kindly inform us by mail ( ctrf.info@gmail.com ) at least 10 days before the scheduled shipment. This email must include your organization ID, laboratory name and the reason for not participating.
Note: To find details about shipment and other dates, kindly refer to the Calendar in the resources section of the website.

Ans. In case you find that the results submitted by you are incorrect, you can simply resubmit your results. The last submitted result will be considered for evaluation.

Ans. Results can not be submitted once the deadline has passed.

Ans. Yes, Chimera’s team consists of a rich and diverse panel of domain experts, all of whom are very excited to offer guidance in order to take the program forward.

Ans. The confidentiality of each participant laboratory is of utmost importance to us. Therefore, each laboratory is assigned a unique code at the time of registration. This code is unknown to other participating laboratories and is used for all future communications. Participants are urged to not disclose this code to each other.
